The artistic Cabana Room is the premier event space at Canal Club. This unique
indoor space has the feel of an outdoor patio with an exposed brick wall, eclectic
hanging lanterns and large mural of the Venice canals. A white canvas tent covers
the entire ceiling with the last remaining wooden gondola from old Venice, hanging
beneath it. The room may be separated from the rest of the restaurant by sliding
glass and wood doors. Art by such artists as David Hockney, Robert Graham, Daniel
Samakow and Tony Berlant is displayed throughout the room. The Cabana Room also
features a lit marble bar situated under a thatched hut decorated with lights and
lanterns. The room seats up to 70 and may be used in concert with the area directly
before the Cabana Room to take over the left side of the restaurant for groups over
100. This front area is also available for receptions when the Cabana Room is
utilized primarily as a dining room. The Cabana Room receives natural light,
creating a warm glow and is a perfect spot for weddings and afternoon events.
