Canal Club has been called “one of the most exciting restaurants in Los Angeles”.
This eclectic neighborhood restaurant was named the Canal Club due to the clubby
feeling of the Venice neighborhood and that it is situated a block away from the
famous Venice canals.
The interior features work by numerous Venice artists whose
intent was to interpret the Venice California beach experience in art and design.
Design elements include a Lagoon Lounge with a steel wave wall, fish shaped tables
and a lit sunset marble wall and private 2nd floor dining room inspired by the Venice
pier. The exciting décor creates a creative atmosphere geared to the artistic
Venice community.
The equally unique and eclectic menu offers something for everyone
and was designed to please the varied tastes of the Venice neighbors and visitors.
The menu is a broad definition of Pacific Rim cuisine; food from California, Asia
and Mexico. The dishes are prepared at both the large 21-seat sushi bar and on the
open wood grill and rotisserie in the kitchen.
